Kenya. The lost nation.

To the young and old citizens of Kenya who love Kenya, can you wake up and reclaim your nation!! We have left too much to these politicians who we can clearly see have no vision at all! How can our 40 honorable MPs go to a foreign country to stand outside a court room in the cold knowing very well that they would not add any value or even have any influence while at home they have not passed the relevant registration that we require for the full implementation of the new constitution? While the 40 are there doing nothing but wasting money and time the rest are here planning useless homecomings and fighting with their fellow idiots who are planning prayer meetings that will disrupt businesses for an entire day. If you sincerely need to pray, you can do it from your seating room, God will hear you. Honestly when will we Kenyans as Kenyans get tired of these clowns? Are you tired or is it just me???

unfortunately theses are the leaders we chose a true reflection of the people on the ground, i cant criticize them at all, AM SURE ALL OF YOU GUYS WOULD DO THE SAME WERE TO BE IN THEIRS SHOES. i will be happy to be proven wrong by any of you. LOVE WHAT YOU DO, DO WHAT YOU LOVE.

I admire Egypt et al but I have to be honest, forget being tribalistic and all those reasons why we cant hold demonstrations, as a person I have no guts to go out to the streets demonstrating! Lol! Am too scared of the police response of killing and beating people senseless.

Protest? About who? To remove who? To replace them with who? KENYA IS A CASE OF A BAD SOCIETY THAT HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO BAD LEADERS. Dont forget that unlike Tunisia and Egypt, we are a democracy and those guys we are complaining about are people who got votes from us. Wait for 2012 and vie, quit whining!

@kyt, cant agree more. Those are kenyan representatives, elected by KENYANS! They were picked among the peculiar n unique kenyan crowd mainly made up of wajuaji, noisemakers, whiners n activists. They are us! Nevertheless, lets uphold PEACE despite our shortcomings as a society. TULIA.........UFUNZWE!

But when the middle class gets tired and says enough is enough, then you'll know what an unstoppable tsunami is - forget the fake one of Raila. Look at Libya, Egypt and Yemen. The middle class is what holds the nation together. Forget going to the streets to get battered by well trained police with weapons as it's foolish, short term and accomplishes nothing, but imagine my friends if all in the middle class downed their tools, wouldn't that mark the end of any regime?

I saw on telly people in NE province fighting for water (a 20 litre can was going for 200/=). The desperate ones were scooping mad so they could squeeze the water out. Where were their MPs? Fighting for space in the O6 welcome brigade and prayer meeting!!

So the simple answer is that the middle-class is not tired enough yet - and it is too divided along ethnic lines to bring about any meaningful change. That is the reality.
