Is this a new tariff?

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

indeed seems like a tarrif. MJ was on TV at about 6:55 pm. He says you can call from between 80 cents to 8 bob depending on your location. looks like location based charging.

safcon knows how to confuse people. I prefer YU... 7.50 across networks... all day... every day... (and free sms yu-yu)... and if u spend 15/- on yu-yu calls... every minute then is only 50cents...

Like all safcom deals, there is a catch. This time you need to change your tariff. They wasted too much time and resources coming up with this. They should have simply reduced the calling charges withing their network since its clear this was the aim instead of telling people at you press star hash blah blah blah. Safcom is now behaving like celtel before they changed name to zain

So,how do i get to know that i have enjoyed the said discount?.......and am i supposed to complain if i don't??.....I think this thing is matope.Good products sell by their simplicity. What MJ should have done is simply say,'Sasa kuongea ni three bob per minute',instead of giving a complicated brari tariff. How do i convince my Grandma that it works?

Another confusing tariff from Safaricon...the lazier option.

This was just a headline-grabbing stunt to try and counter the Zain,YU domination of advertising space...

At least this takes care of the Kenyan's peculiar calling habits where people used to dive for their phones whenever off-peak rates kicked in leading to massive congestion. The network intelligently determines the call rates according the the statistics of a given cell at any time hence you're able to enjoy the discount at any time. If they charged a flat rate of even 5 bob their network simply would come crashing down...

Be the change you want to see in the world...

@Mpenzi. Wewe ni kipenz! Cha kweli. Thanx. @guka. Scon is not genuine. It ought to have switched everyone to SUPA. I'll not be surprised if there r pple(real gukas) still on SAASA. @cxz. 'this time you need to change ur tariff'. R u implying it's a beta tariff or that scon is not doing it auto-ly?
