@ mpenzi,

mt kioko will not escape my mind either..not ever...you see when it was time to kungaa boot, at some point i beacame sleepy...the next thing i heard was somebody shouting at me...nani huyu anangaa boot at a halt?...what followed was pure agony having to spend the rest of night shining them...no sleeping...then went for BX, but somewhere near upsetters i fell asleep still running...when the afande issued halt order i kept running and...i bumped into the guy infront, who did the same to the one infront of him and the chain reaction continued...about 35 guys went down including afande himself...when we went back to the nesting ground i was ordered to pick my white pillow case and lenga kioko without breakfast...at the peak of mlima kioko i lifted the pillow case tied to a stick to make sure that it was seen by afande who was almost 5km away...went back exhausted only for the afande to tell me that he did not see the white pillow case at the peak of mlima kioko and thus i should go back...in fact he brought another ncio to supervise my return to kioko as he (afande) proceeded to do other things...i almost fainted...you can guess what i did...

@ mcreggae and all,

in a reply to another post elsewhere, wendz used the word "skive" and used it correctly...this word was a slung language in those barracks and i thought may be wendz passed through there or elsewhere but the same institution...and thus its title.

however, i thank all the kamneiz guys for the beautiful and memorable adventures that we had...i truely miss the place...

Change the title of this thread to NYS Camp. Ama u guys r not discussin Gilgil?

Yeah hio ni NYS! At Gilgil before the gals came over, there was one solitary truly "ugly" woman who was a nurse i think. Every guy had a serious crush on her..i mean we had no choice..ati kutafuta excuse to go the clinic to check her out lol!

That was desperation kweli..

When we joined campus, once there was a strike. Lo and behold, our platoon reasembled na tukaanza drill. This was like 10 min before the first cop Mahindra arrived. When they did, kila upande ilikuwa na commandant. We showed those cops one or two mambos.
