Hi,

Anyone know the best and safest company where one can give their car for hire at a fee? Best returns preferably and possibly one that vets before giving to any reckless driver. Asante!

You would rather buy AK shares; or even Paka shares.
Portfolio: Sold
You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

Unless you get a driver to drive it around, I dont think you will like the experience.
Lord, thank you!

Me thinks it can be a very good business if you give them your car and they employ you as the driver. Anything else is a NO.

Donate the car to a needy man, the spiritual benefits will far outweigh any worldly dream.

Am sure there are good companies out there, but differentiating the good from the crooks is a big problem. But as they say, every man can trust at least one person: - yourself. So why dont you set up your own small car hire business. Some tips:
* You can obtain a sizeable fleet by talking to friends who can trust you.
* To resolve client trust problems, start by listing down friends you can trust, then ask them to refer your business to their own friends. This way, by hiring out your car to only first and second generation friends, you incur lesser risk of losing the car - either through misuse or theft.
* Plan - this is the most important thing in any business. You need to plan for: risk management, licensing, Sourcing for additional vehicles to meet expanding client base, Putting your foot on firm ground and claiming your market niche and finally, you need to plan for Continuous improvement
* Be smart - the main reason you are starting the business is to make additional income. So get your figures correct - how much can you make per day; how much are you making; what depreciation and maintenance costs are you incurring, how much stress is it causing you etc. If the cost exceed benefits, Run like a tail without a dog!, sorry the other way round.

Hi,

Get more details from cab companies e.g Jimcab, 1st cab e.t.c

Compare their figures and choose the one with the best offer.

One thing I can guarantee you is they employ their drivers so the vehicle may not be driven recklessly, they also carry out normal service only and pay you on monthly basis.
