tortoise speeds. i wonder what they do with all that bandwith, seacom & EASSy)
thats why i stick with Kdn. i get speeds of 2.5 MBps on downloads and all for a fraction of what Orange charges monthly for fake 3G speeds...

most definately you are on fiber network...how much do you pay..

All you do is sign a one year contract with a Kdn reseller, and deposit 15k which is refunded if you dont skip monthly payments in 12 months time from the time you subscribe.
I am on 1 MBps.. i pay 2000/- per month.. i dont know why but i get speeds of 2.5 MBps constatly be it day or nite..
If i showed you where i live, you would think that i was hiding.

I noticed this slow speeds about three weeks ago and migrated to SCOM.

Now Airtel, ah hem; I was at Zain up to around 2008/9 and the speed was out of this world... one time I waited 5hrs to download an email with 4MB attachment!

I complained to CCK.... and today [19 Mar 2011] some one called me from CCK to find out if the problem had been solved. I told them that I moved to Orange...and then to SCOM...

I don't usually download them, I just stream them from the site. If you want to download them though, you just have to copy the link and paste it in the toolbar at www.keepvid.com

I've always appreaciated orange speeds but today, i just couldn't connect to the net. I use the 3G+ EVDO modem and when i try connecting it tells me ''Cannot connect to remote computer bcz the username and p/w combination....''
--anyone ever heard same problem, or did I change a default config? Which I doubt!

And what was all this hype about superfast internet when the 3 fibre optic cables landed at Mombasa? Things seem to have gotten worse after the fibre optic thing. At least I was getting 2mbps on Safaricom before the fibre.
