This is another set of dissapointing results as they are well below the expectation that was implied by the half year and 3rd quarter results. The only positive in the result is that the bank will pay a dividend for the first time in many years. 60 cts is however a paltry dividend but I can't say I was surprised.

the divinded payout is a joke after waiting for many years.
The dividend yield was relatively big compared to most counters and therefore i expected a ksh 1-2 divinded.
Phew,let the share fall and we collect at 35 bob !!

These stocks where government is clear majority not very generous usually - they squeeze out all the juice. After 10 years of famine, 0.60 dividend.

But there's 38 percent increase in net profits to Sh2 billion which is encouraging.

And Now they are forecasting a bleak future after registering measly 25% growth last year.

Do as you are saying.

Buy----->>>>Hold---->>>>Sale---->>>>loss

Times are bad bro.....

Better same amount you invest in co-op or kcb or equity and forget it for couple of years.

Figuratevly 60cts looks kidogo but NBK has been very generous by giving away 50% of net earnings. If u ask me DTB is the stingy one (refn to Div.only B4 i'm lynchd!)
