Have had Barclaycard for three years. Never failed me, not once. I spend and pay the entire amount the following month, so no interest. I think discipline is key; a creditcard can be a very good source of emergency fund as you build your emergency account gradually. But discipline is key. I have never withdrawn cash, l even destroyed the PIN statement so l cant withdraw cash. The last two months though, my statement has been late due to migration to a new platform that will enable sms dispatch upon transaction. But l got an apology email early to that effect. I agree accessing their customer care requires abit of patience. Like a fellow wazuan here, they doubled my limit even without my request.
