Any price below 30 might force the mgt to go for debt instead of rights. This is because they will be forced to issue a higher number of rights leading to more than expected dillution.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

By the time, a stock is "officially" declared a bus on Wazua, it has long since left the station and it's probably approaching its destination. The best time to buy KQ was when a huge quantity exchanged hands at 35, signalling a price floor.

Unfortunately, I was not watching the ticker that day and I had to scramble after the departing bus but could only manage to get on at 36-36.50, and even then not as many as I would have wished. I hope the bus keeps on going as I will want to exit these as soon as they clear!

the question you shld be asking yourself is have the reasons why you got into KQ in the first place changed...if not why shld you bail out and in the process had your money do nothing.
if they have have you shld have bailed out long long long long time ago.
i have average of 42.00 on this stock.

Anyone with market viewer for the current actual demand vs supply figures? as at this time of writing richlive is showing interesting demand at 172,100 with supply at 4,800. At what prices though?...

At 1040 hrs, I am seeing Total Demand of 173,300 against Total Supply of 77,700 with BEST BID of 500 shares at 38.50 and LOWEST ASK of 8,400 shares at 39.

Supply does indeed seem to be coming in and i expect a cooling off/stabilization in this counter at the 38-40 level.

@QW, As I have stated elsewhere I am not skilled in TA. This is pure intuition, perhaps borne out of watching the markets for a while. For KQ, for me the elephant in the room is the possibility of a rights issue which in the short run can only be negative for the stock. I do not however expect any announcement regarding this until after the release of the March 2011 results.

As for MSC, the answer to your question is YES, barring a general market selloff, I do not expect MSC to go below its recent low of 7. A new trading range between 7.50 - 8 seems to have been set, in the last few days.

KQ's Rights Issue - if any - will be small in comparison. The major Capital Raising will have to be a Bond since KQ needs the cash in tranches to pay deposits for the new 787s...

It looks like you were right on this. Price has come off yesterday's highs of Kshs 40. Closing bids were at 37 while the last trades were at 38. It appears there is a lot of caution by buyers raegarding this counter.
