cnn wrote: @VVs,he may be referring to the matter between KK and another in the axis of evil, read KPC. All has gone quiet on that front. Ahhh, LOL. The 4.2bn case... Since it [the order to deposit the cash] is has probably been appealed by KPC, I figure KK can't talk about it. The earlier was an announcement about a verdict/judgment/order that the Judge made which is different from discussing a case in court. I do not understand sub-judice rules... Pls get in touch... You know how... BTW, you are right... and many of the KK stations in Zambia are NEW... that is a GROWING economy... I know KK took some over & re-branded them but they are also expanding... KK does not dominate in Zambia [yet] but are strong in Lusaka & Ndola... Greedy when others are fearful. Excellent. So KK is finally moving against KPC in the enforcement of the deposit for KShs 4.3bn but I think it will be even higher since KK has included interest as well. So even if KPC deposits KSh 4.3bn, seems KK will ask for another KShs 1bn. I support KK 100%... Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Erm, I wonder how much we will pay for fuel now? http://www.nation.co.ke/.../-/541es8z/-/index.html
110/-? I hope for KK's sake the ERC doesn't try to manipulate the formula earn brownie points with the public. Or we will see OMCs backing off on supplying fuel at a loss... Total only makes 80cents [PAT] for every liter of fuel they sell! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Well, the cash may not accrue to KK... unless KK wins. If KK wins the net will be much higher than 4.6bn coz of interest. Also some claims are in US$ so add those at current rates! @Simplified.@the deal. The longer the waiting the better 4 me. I need to add 10,000 more shares to cost average on twice as many shares that I've. The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.

Impunity wrote:@VVS,do we expect kindu Kes. 1 bob per share for the year ending 31/Dec/2010 for KK? Segman would rather keep all profits for growth. To maintain last years dividend he would have to pay ksh 0.35. I would personally prefer zero dividend and a bonus. I can see a combination of both, a 0.20 dividend and a 1:1 bonus. Remember that their outstanding share capital is only 73M.
