There is this young girl with a person for eductaion.She believes that that is the only way of coming out of Poverty that has been a major setback for her eductaion.

She was in form two seven years ago and dropped out of school due to school fees.She refused to give up and started a fresh from class8,by grace of God she made it to form one and right now at her 20+years she is supposed to sit for her KCSE by the end of this year that seems impssible due to the fact that she has not gotten her birth cirtificate to enable her enrole for exams.

The team at the registry insist that she must get her National ID coz she is of age yet the GOK has suspended printing of IDs for 3month.They have been chasing this issue from Jan but she keeps on being sent away as the officials insist that they cant use waiting note.Stories we can hear from successful parents is that you must use money.Some pay 1k,2k or 3k.To the poor parents of the girl this is like telling them to get milk from a startue of a cow.The girl is so depressed to an extent that she cant continue with her cclasses at St.Mark Obambo Secondery Sch.How can we help her .Please advise

LOL!!!

@Ngwono
As a christian woman,you know all too well that bribery is wrong..No..EVIL! So,if that girl has waited for 7yrs to chase her dreams,why wouldnt she wait a little longer instead of taking her parents through unnecessary stress? And why has she waited until last minute when she's +20 something to get her ID? why didnt she pursue the issue immediately she hit 18yrs? Alikuwa anangoja nini?!

Tell her to take this as a lesson,next time ajipange mapema.. And to WAIT if that's all she has to do. She can bribe,sit for the exams,and fail.. and she can wait,follow the right procedure,sit for her exams in peace and pass and move on with life. The choice is hers.. Exams isn't the end of life and i insist..if she waited for 7yrs,she can still WAIT for a few more months. Awache kupatia wazazi pressure bure.

@Impunity am sorry for provoking you. I was meant to write passion but some of us are just careless, no proof reading before posting in the name of writing in a hurry to do other business hope my apologies are accepted. But I do not accept that the girl is in deep problem since she is not supposed to be judged by my weaknesses

@leona

You have a point but then a gain where will she get the school fee for another one year.The problem with Kenyans is that the like doing things in the very last minute and thats why they end up bribing corrupt officials.I think that form 3s should be busy getting theit BC now
