just received a letter from cic.says they alloted 78 percent of shares applied for. there was an oversubscription of 4 881 571 over the 29 475 428 shares available for subscription.
rights alloted in full.
the remainder to be alloted if shareholders recommend increase in share capital to cater for the same at the AGM.
not bad at all.

@yosie if you applied for rights you got full allocation. private placement and any extra shares applied for gets 78 percent allocation in the first instance. if you dont want to wait for the remaining 22 percent then you have 30 days from the date of the letter (14th jan) to write the company secretary for a refund.

good info there todaa(thanx).Not bad as you say since we wil ratify this in the AGM.Hope the shares will be eligible for dividends for year 2010

...just received my CIC share certificate with my 78% allocated shares with par value of 20/= via posta..... they should now announce a date for the Special General Meeting to enable us approve creation of additional shares for the 22% balance.....

@Layman, that's nice. I'll check my box. There was to be a release of last year's financial results today. @pkoli, any idea whether this happened and who is to benefit from goodies if any?

they plan to list next year. profit before tax up 117 percent to 605M. 2010 results out. daily nation business news.
