According to WHO ,only 30% of world men are circumcised .i.e. perform (MGM)men genital mutilation.

Only in Kenya are such people seen as boys (kihii) yet even most of the mzungus and Mhindis you see handing financial aid are actually uncircumcised.Yes , the ones we go to with our begging bowls , most of them are not circumcised.

Infact I think mutilating the small head has a direct negative impact on the bigger one.

The point here is we should respect one another whether circumcised or not.

I am cut.I faced the blade when I was 8 years old only .Was mutilated by a doctor though. But that doesn't make me more man and I do respect those who are not.

I wonder why some if not most Kenyans see it as being more man when circumcised than when not yet the facts speak for themselves only 30% of men are circumcised and a big % of those are in the USA and Muslim countries.

What makes you more man by being mutilated .

My point is , the next time you are about to call an adult fellow Kenyan Kihii remember that most world's men are not genitally mutilated and those that are may actually be mutilated in the bigger head.

W.H.O has been advocating for men to be cut since its hygienic and it reduces the rate of venereal infections. @User it is very African to feel proud when cut. In particular communities, the cut is done at particular age to symbolize the transition from childhood to adulthood. A lot changes after the cut and one is regarded as an adult and can be consulted.
