TV stations in Kenya virtually exist for 'political news'designed to achieve some political patron his mileage. The rest is mainly hogwash!!! I prefer listening to radio in the evening. It makes me relax and enjoy my evening.I actualy end up having so much time to catch up with everyone around.

I know quite a number of decision makers who have no time for TV or even newspapers. So I do not understand why someone would pay KShs3M to air an advert. I think it is based on a myth really.

This is why I invested in a playstation 2. 3 ni pesa nyingi......anyway, I have never regretted that decision.

If I get visitors at prime time, I would rather put family tv, or helicopter, to watch the lies....

There is no good tv station. No, not one!

LOL! I saw him selling some tap water with different labels for
a) home - if you have too many flies just spray it and the witchcraft behind the flies will be destroyed and the flies will go

b) business - if your business is failing, (e.g. because you are bad in book keeping) just spray the water and whatever is arresting your business will be destroyed...

when I saw this topic,I did some research on the citizen clientele based on the mexican soaps in the office and realised that its a hit and way ahead of other struggling stations like NTV.

Out of 10 married people I talked to,7 said their wives or themselvels (incase of women I talked to) are addicted to the soaps.
and in all the 10,their house girls are 100% Naija naijalised !

Conclusion ;Citizen nows the market and they should continue vivyo hivyo !!

Family tv is currently going through a similar money hunting episode. Only that they show American preachers who you cannot debate with, only because they will inundate you with words you will hardly get space to interject.....

Back to helicopter, people queue to get into the place. The pilot then shoots some questions which all the respondents promptly answer in the affirmative. Some give themselves away when they hesitate to answer before delivering the 'correct' answers. Talk of coaching witnesses..... Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

I think I should try watch helicopter. Seems it is more interesting than the ordinary comedies.smile

On those soap operas, guess they must be the most watched TV programs otherwise they would not be aired at peak time...All the same, I hate them!

Just install DSTV to save your family.

Their intelligence might be affected by those third rated programs.

@bwenyenye 'the bold and the beautiful'is not mexican its like 'the young and the restless' very old soap operas with a huge following.

when I was young I followed 'THE BOLD' as we called it in short, in those days it was interesting until the level of incest became unbearable.

Then their was 'the rich also cry'I think everyone was following this soap in those days....it was the in thing.
