I agree that SAF's longevity in the league and his success have probably made him influential to the point that refs get nervous...well, that's theirs...but he's not above the rules. The day he accused some ref of being unfit he had to apologize.

That said,a penalty for the seasiders would have been too hard to come back from....tough luck, they should have defended better. That's how I felt when Drogba scored from offside last season...shoulda woulda coulda

@kingfisher, Taz, didnt Rio get fouled, Zilgic handle the ball seconds to Bowyer's equaliser? A decision that cost United 2pts. A decision that didnt go United's way. Or you will say we hadnt bought the ref? In those instances you decide to look the other way. Drogba scored from an offside position at Old Trafford. Ref played it on. These are decisions that cost United, but we move on. Rafael given a cheap red card at Spurs. We still move on. Its a high time you guys did the same.

Oh, and I was into our comeback to notice the goons had gone to the final of the saucer.

Jus Blazin.....Rafael is a very "dirty" player, in most cases his tackles are a bit dangerous but he gets away with it, i think he should have been sent off earlier in the Spurs match and also the Liverpool match. You've only mentioned two decisions that were against Man Utd, btw why are you all forgetting the fact that MACHEDA handled the ball in the Chelsea match.

Arsenal is not a football team! It is a bunch of Ohangla musicians! They should sell that idle trophy cabinet and buy musical equipment and play Ohangla fulltime.
