its a china make....simple and small..

costs:
orange - 100/= per month to all land lines and orange mobile and orange fixed plus....all my call are official during the day...

Airtel - 3bob to all networks and a bob for sms to all networks....

safcon - receiving calls (occassionally subscribing for 100 sms a day for 20/=

I thought this was scrapped and SmS now is 1/- to all network.... someone confirm

Correct! SMS = 1 BOB on net and 2 BOB to other NETWORKS

used it quite sometime back, guess its scrapped like @K22 rightly states....
nonetheless less phone bulk for me is a bonus too....

china phones cannot take in mini opera reason being they cannot take in applications done in java

true that....bur again you can still browse the net using the native browser.....its ok for one who does very light browsing

got one from luthuli. yxtel brand with NOKIA written on top, 3k, seems to work fine for me, no complaints so far...
