They each have a number of positives, and risks that made a direct choice of one against the other difficult for me. So, i decided to get into both

NIC looks poised to issue bonus shares again they need to retain earnings. their ratios are beginning to look strained.

KCB 5% dividend yield better than your bank account.

Wa! Tough one. But NIC is responding well to the anticipated results. May hit 60. For KCB I have quite a number so Ill still say buy (biased).

For me i'd rather continue hogging more and more NIC.

The fundamentals ( PE & EPS) atleast indicate a better counter compared to KCB.

But that's just me !

Its NIC all the way....without any reservations am betting NIC to hit 80 by Aug 2011

As for Kcb..the share has relatively underperformed over the years...the injection of additional capital last year may give the bottom line a momentary boost. It therefore remains to be seen if its sustainable.
The management needs to up their game on this...

The traded price at 3.06pm was 53 with supply at 55.
51.5 is the average price for the day

My target exit for NIC is 58 (100%), unless they do a bonus.

NIC is the best bet btwn the two probably to hit 60. KCB is not going anywhere in the forseeable future in terms of share price even if it reports good returns.

Keep on day dreaming. Sit back, relax and watch as Kcb pulls a BBK ....
