Hi IT Gurus.Could someone kindly advice me how on the best application for downloading a youtube video and converting it into a windows media format?I have tried googling but the freeware I get does not download/convert the entire video.....Thanks in advance..

There is an app software called freecorder, try it coz it works very well. Once you play videos on youtube it records on the background with continuity, moreover it has more than 10 inbuilt converters to your preference. Enjoy

@lexx freecorder surely works well..thanks.You tube downloader is also working well.Dont worry outvestor no piracy here..

Simple,Just download a copy of Internet Download Manager- IDM and install it in your computer.Every time you open a video in youtube , you will get an option to download it.It's 15 times more faster than any other application.

you can also use savevid...it gives u the option to download the video in various formats, MP4, flv etc.

also try DVDvideosoft splendid piece of software code.....downloads and gives options of formats before you do....
