In fact all of you are fuelling hate speech due to ignorance. In my beautiful mother tongue, 'kimundu' means a 'big person' and not a useless person as some of you are trying to depict. In my interpretation, UK was merely alluding to one of his political competitors. If you are not a first speaker of this language, kindly look for an elder to take you through the kikuyupedia.

A caller who referred to himself as Masai reprimanded him, & his explanation was that he was angry, his words were ' temperature inapanda saa zingine'punda amecheka

UK was wrong to refer to RAO as "kimundu" but i also think we are being petty. Raila has been using "vitendawilis" to attack his opponents for so long yet no one has raised a finger.

I find nothing derogatory in the term "kimundu". This idea of picking on a word whose meaning some people dont know and ascribing to it a derogatory meaning is simply not on.

In gikuyu, 'ki' represents 'big size' and 'mundu' is a human being or simply a person. Therefore, 'ki-mundu' denotes a giant of a human being. If it were 'ka-mundu' this would imply a dwarf. The use of the term 'ki-mundu' by UK is not derogatory at all. As a proud mugikuyu, I would be very unhappy with a non-mugikuyu to misinterpret and misrepresent my sweet mother tongue. For the sake of those who love muratina, I'm a mgema!

Vinii has not compared UK with Rao or anyone else for that matter.the real beef is with UK using a word that we of his tribe know to be derogatory depending on the context and how it is used.I also find UK annoying most of the time.To me he is not the kind of leader the youth in kenya need.HE doesnt represent the change we so much desire. Hope is not a strategy

I understand the word "Kihee" is the one that would be derogatory. Seems like Raila fanatics have an ear placed closely to all media

hi all,why so much argument, all of you???????let us just call RAO "Kamundu" and UK and President "Imundu" plural for "Kimundu"and me "Githee" or "Kimundu" or "Kiigangio"
and let us lay the extremely petty case to rest....NKT!!!!!...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...
