Balala claims he will back young leaders. Speaking today, he said old guards above 50yrs have no place in Kenya's politics come 2012 and he will back a young leader in 2012, probably PK.

Question is will Balala make it back to Bunge in 2012, and how many votes does he command ?

If it were Joho or Kingi then i would take notice, given that they command a sizeable Mijikenda vote, as for Balala i dont think the Arab votes are that much to pull any weight with.

Those were my exact thoughts in 2002 & 2007, the guy knows how to play his cards right. I'm not quite sure the "Pharmacist" will make it back though, Kisauni is kind of a hot seat and as for Kingi, his just too quiet for life. I don't think RAO will be comfortable with Joho as his point man.

@Impunity

I've calculated the age of Mpig PK as 46 by finding the difference between 1965 and 2011. Or there is another way of calculating the same.

All in all,Kenyan politics ni za kumalizana. Will Balala join the Ruto Bandwagon? Will ruto push Raila out of Premiership and occupy the same seat?

Did you note some senior lawyers still argue the law was followed and will be effected soon on the 4 appointments. Babu Namwamba said as much. Only civil society can thwart such an attempt.

Will the world sit and watch as all these unfold or Obama will heighten his youth project like in Egypt etc?

By the way, is Balala echoing someone else voice?

Balala's Boat sailed a long time ago! Dont you remember His quote at The MAU evictees fund raising 'IF YOU ARE NOT ON THAT TABLE THEN YOU ARE NOT THE FUTURE'. His beef with RAO is that the PM abadoned Him for Joho. It will be hard for Balala to make it back since His constituency has very few Arabs.

One thing most of us seem to forget is that we have a new constitution, 2012 will be a whole new ball game. Some of the Mpigs will be running for Governor and Senator....hii mambo ya Constituency will probably be taken up by the present councilors.

Good people, take a short break from politics and review stocks. At least you will be assured of some dividends during the year. Did I see Suntra has gone online?

The 'president' to be has spoken
Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta said his pending case at The Hague is a political scheme by his political enemies to stop him from the 2012 General Elections.He spoke to a Kikuyu vernacular station Kameme FM today.
