Why avoid the receptionist?

@Vituz

She got the worst attitude I have ever seen in a receptionist. She never has information that a receptionist is supposed to have at her finger tips, she misinforms either by choice or ignorance, is too much into herself and the worst is trying to call her about your shares on phone.

Man, at one time, while venting my momentary anger, I threw away the phone I was using to call her.

I still wonder what miracle still keeps her at that desk. She has been there for like six yrs or more.

Don't mistake me, I have never been rude to her, never attempted to land my submarine anywhere near her sea port or even been suggestive.

Vituz, you are now making me relive some of those scenarios. But am not complaining. I was only warning any interested investor to trend carefully while approaching the subject at the entrance of the brokerage firm.

Now, because you have opened the door for ranting, let me just rant.

CFC bank on Kimathi street has been hell for me. All the times I've been there in the last three weeks has meant queuing for not less than one hour. That is with the three teller counters open with the 4th closed and the queue remaining less than ten ppl.

The tellers double cheque your legal tender notes like ten times by putting them into that kamachine over and over and other unnecessary triple checks that are time consuming. Service care at CSFS is also slow but I like their live screen. How can I get connected to something like that at home?

I was taken there because of online trading but now, with Suntra in the game, I have options.

Waende Hague. That is where they belong together with others so far missing on the list.

..most of this firms are family owned thus run like a kiosk with alot of technology and prime space on cbd..
..what i'm saying is that they just run biashara and do nothing much about personnel professionalism nor appropriatenes.. unless u are really an expert in ur field the only people employed are relatives and friends..

to expect a receptionist therefore to help you out is just too huge an expectation..

for that kind of service..seek a bank backed brokerage house..
..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16

@Stocksmaster

Most of the time, I try to have a happy hunting expedition and do fulfill the same. But once in a while, the inevitable happens.

Have a nice holiday season but keep it here.

I placed an order for Safcom at 4.45. It must have gone through. How do I confirm on the Csfs online site? Surealligator or Vestor, please help. Other Experts, saidia please.
Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.

Sure,check on the "Pending Orders" tab on the older online website.If none is pending then it went through.
Alternatively, "pretend" that you are making an online Buy order and see the amount that's available as collateral.
Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.

Why not just run your statement for a selected period to date. You should be able to see the new shares on the statement.

There are many options...you can check on available balance normally they indicate if there is pending order in terms of value, you can also check on history, order status, statement, valuation...once an order has gone through, all the information is changed immediately or automatically to be precise!

What happened to the 0.9 per cent commission that they were talking about at the launch of this online trading?
