@2012, @erifloss. Thanks. With all the acquisitions I think kk may not give dividends for 2010. What do you think?

If they intended to use our divs for acquisitions they would have told us like the way eabl and centum did. So my friend expect to get your dividends.

BBI will solve it

Well, they do not need to do anything... The answer will be when the results are announced BUT this was a small acquisition... What if they announce a large acquisition???

@jerry, I more suspect a bonus issue. Too little ordinary shares and a wealth of retained earnings. Segman would also wish to retain everything and keep shareholder happy too.

@GG. Going by past experience, we have to wait till April for last year's results and I believe we shall have made at least 15% in capital gains.
For me I'll be looking for KSh.12/10!

Notice how KK is opening 'bases' away from the need to use lousy & corrupt KPC?

Use of Tanzania's Ports [partially privatized] + export footprint into DRC from Rwanda + Burundi

The Depot...can easily be linked by pipeline to... Lake Tanganyika is a key corridor for imports and exports including petroleum products for Tanzania, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Kobil Burundi will continue to be supplied mainly from the Dar-es-Salaam Port in Tanzania as the reliability of the Kenya Pipeline continues to be below expectations.

Kobil Burundi... expand its export market in the region, especially its supplies to Uvira, Kalemie and other parts of Eastern DRC...

@mjuaji - I don't care whether others buy or not... LOL... All I can say is that I am happy I am in! I would buy more but cash is the limiting factor!

Today i bought more. Im glad its stayed down this long to allow time for accumulation. Very little demand for the share at the moment, best time to buy.

Please don't call KK the KCB of Oil Marketing Companies... That is an insult! I would rather it be the Equity of OMCs...

[KCB loses billions regularly in scams every 2 years. The last one was Triton... when KK even warned MoE about it... but MoE officials were in the scam as well]
