kyt, I was watching a programme on Wall Street dons. Believe me, sportsmen/women can't even smell these guys asses, vile wako mbele. Plus the bonuses they get on top of their salaries are just crazy. In 2010 the total compensation for Wall Streeters was a record 135 billion dollars. www.news.yahoo.com/s/ybl...reet-pay-hits-new-record I doubt even the entire European football could match that, as in 2007/2008, the EPL wage bill was 1 billion bounds. And European football is estimated to be worth 19.4 billion dollars (2008/09) www.suite101.com/content...-deloitte-report-a246173

kyt, I doubt our sportspeople (apart from athletes) earn anything substantialSadSadSad Bankers in Kenya too earn good money. (relative to other professions) There was the discussion we had here of Equity's CEO reportedly earing 25 mil a month. Do you remember when we were young everyone wanted to either work in a bank or be a pilot?smile

if you want to succeed very well in Kenya deal in monopolies because the body in-charge of dealing with anti-competitive behaviour is not effective.
Braclays is cutting jobs in trying to increase its profits.
The biggest mistake they did was to have a decline in loans advancement since beginning of last year.
Most of their loans are maturing and new loans uptake is quite slow.
Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation
Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle
