Nyayo Estate Embakasi. 3 br flats, you can get for 20k if you look around. But Beware of traffic jams, unpredictable matatu fares, occassional water shortages. Great hideout if you are single, nightmare if you are married and have school going kids.

I agree with you on matatu fares, i differ on water and traffic jams, tell me where in nairobi you wont get traffic jams? School going kids are picked and dropped by school buses...
