The high court has ruled that there is no offense in Kenya called
consumption of alcohol. According to the high court the 'Mututho law' does not deal with innocent consumption of alcohol. It has various provisions for punishing drunken and disorderly behaviour and sale of alcohol in unlicensed premises and times but does not outlaw
drinking of alcohol anywhere any time!
The offense is selling alcohol outside of the specified time but not drinking it!
