Interesting....was inquiring on more details of the project from one of the directors who had provided cellphone number at their "offices" and from yesterday evening...number is mteja..

My main oustanding issue on the due diligence is that the guys should have been willing to share the agreement they had with the owners of the land in order for our lawyers to review and give assurance that the title would pass from current land owners to the development company once all conditions (this also needed to be understood) were fulfilled.

Without this, it would mean just trusting the developers, which would be ok if its was a company with long track record and a lot to lose but now for a company using "shared services offices" and undertaking its first project....lets see how it all develops

If the directors have nothing to hide, they should be ready and willing to talk to the public. I am just left wondering what may be going on.

Yesterday there were some new developments on the project, my two friends who had invested in this projects were called by Central police station after the cops raided Tropical Green Ofices. They got their contacts from the documents left behind, apparently it is claimed that the project is a scam, under police investigation. Some of the officials were also arrested.

Classic saying WHEN A DEAL IS TOO GOOD THINK TWICE no way a massionate can go for that price. Building costs alone is too expensive

Another Busted case courtesy of Wazua Investigations! I now believe cops do read Wazua and not just for the drama on Club SK. Congrats for all the warnings posted here about this company. In future, will part of due diligence on land deals involve a discussion on Wazua?smile

Kindly share what the investors were told by the police. Had they already paid the deposit and had the cheques cleared? are the directors still around or they have varnished into this air?

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

As of yesterday evening, those that had gathered at Central police are those that had paid some deposit, one of the lady who raised the alarm had paid for four plots.
It is claimed that Tropical greens account was/is dry.
Some people were arrested, not sure if the real culprits(Sellers)are behind bars.

@Ruby

Please explain more on the above. What do you mean dry? Imean i thought they would need they money to start off the project hence dry coffers! More details will be appreciated. BTW I was going to pay on monday 31st. I spoke to a lawyer somewhere in tao, from the conversation i immediately cancelled my plan. I had even prepared the cheque!!
