deadline deals are the most interesting. this however does not beat the snap that robinho pulled when he went to mancity........

Sometimes you need to walk alone... in the right directionsmile....we have more space for new fans.... follow him out of the "fools" into the "blues".....

What's with these players nowadays? Where is the royalty? Some transfers should never happen. I feel Torres has shown a lot of disrespect to Liverpool as club, the owners, fans, management etc. by going to Chelsea. He should have gone abroad. But then again nowadays is all about the money!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@maichblack...I disagree. The player must always take care of number 1. In this case, how long was he going to wait to play in the CL? Given the ascendency of Mancity and spurs, it is unlikely that Liverpool will make it to the top 4 this season and maybe even the next season. What will liverpool win this season?

I think Torres did not want to age trophyless, and hence went to the team that (a) He will make an immediate impact (b) Give him a trophy!

I was not saying he or any other player should not move. All I was saying is the destination should matter. At least it used to. It is easier to "forgive" Ronaldo for moving to Real Madrid than for moving to Man Shitty. Get my point? Remind me of any big player move between Man U and Liverpool for example.

@maichblack...it is also easier to forgive a player who has raked in 50m pounds in transfer fees.

Anyways point taken.
