Met this contact that can get you up and running with approx 60k, which includes a anna F1 seed starter pack. 8x10m

Anyway we are working on modalities for hosting a seminar on green houses that will culminate in a site visit to a farmer that has already been setup for a live demo (for lack of better words.)

Check EA seed company, on kijabe street next to simlaw close to the globe round about.

The pack containing approx 1000 seeds retails for about ksh 2800/-.

They had the seed as at 4.30pm jana (26th May)

@Ispoa...i am interested in any alternatives to the Amiran Kit but first would like to the durability. As @guka stated you may use the wrong polythene and the house survives for only one year.

And where can we see this demo of yours?
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

For such people,this technology eliminates most of the uncertainties associated with rain fed open field farming. 600K from a 8m X 15m plot is rather optimistic. Am projecting 500K for twice the plot size. Not bad for a mpango wa kando. Talk to me over Easter 2010,I will have figures to share.
