the NSE 20 share index ralied from lows of 4300 to highs of 4600 and now down. With financials already up prior to end year release the only direction is down. I may be wrong or right. What is your comments

As you say, you may be wrong...or right.
I'm in it for the long haul so it doesn't really matter. The market must come up some time. And go down. And up.....Don't sweat it.
(Not very useful, I know).

A few of the financials looking steady, though. Have they run out of steam?

i am also concerned. Coz if january rally doesnt happen it means the whole year will be very difficult to make money !!! Well January has ended and no rally ....me i think i'll pull my money out and invest somewhere else.(and yeah u guessed it fx) lolz..
You know my problem is that even S&P 500 rallied begin jan but n.s.e didnt rally.the same foreigners who invested in the foreign indeces in Jan making then hit yearly highs why arent they investin in the n.s.e. ..i'd really lik to know foreign investor sentiment !!!!!!! and my broker isnt helpin much . nkt.
Your future depends on your dreams so go to sleep !
