...the boxer has been behaving strangely lately e.g taking kid out of school, burning her boxing gear, claiming that pple have ganged up against her, etc etc. I hope she gets well soon.. If you are an eagle don't hang around with chickens; chickens don't fly....

You took the thoughts right out of my head @Betterty... Has anyone here watched ESPN classics when they're interviewing old boxers? Most of those guys can't construct a meaningful sentence without struggling. While I know that most were illiterate and took to boxing to make something of their lives, I also know that being hit repeatedly on the head for many years cannot be okay...Muhammad Ali comes to mind BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

@kadonye, i totally agree with you - at one time conje made us all enjoy boxing, why do we forget our heroes so fast esp at their hour of need?? If you are an eagle don't hang around with chickens; chickens don't fly....

Dada, I wish you quick recovery. I urge members of the 4th estate to stop exaggerating her condition. It is time to empathize with the situation and to stand with her family. During her prime days, the media overrated her celeb status which the poor lady did not know how to cope with -- her handlers may not have had the requisite skills. Now the media are excitingly looking for an opportunity to record her slump. Sadists!

I think she is suffering from a serious mental breakdown. That woman has been the face of boxing in Kenya in recent years but where has that boxing taken her? Despite all her efforts her money goes to some crocked agents, i don't think she has any financial supporters. If you dedicate all your life to something and that something doesn't work out you are bound to be frustrated. Before you can be be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid.
