Hi guys,

Happy new year. In your view, what is the next bus in any of the East African exchanges and ideally why?

I've been riding EB, HFCK, KQ & KK(a reversing bus) and wish to extend my scope.

Asante.

@qw, thanx for the links.

I boarded and alighted from DTB at a good return. At the current prices, it's not a bus. That business of significant returns from undeclared sources still lingers, right? replicating results this year may not be as easy. KK still seems it can rebound so does KQ. KCB still has upward momentum, as to whether it qualifies as a Wazua bus is another story. Mkokoteni, yes.

Of course DTB will not be growing at 100 percent every year. No one does that.

@P.B - I'm liking this Coop & HFCK stories. I have the latter so will just hold on. Any useful effects this year of the HF bond issue? I boarded Coop and alighted when it hit 19/=. It's on my watch list again.@ Whynow, tell me why.

How about my much neglected NBK - on dividend payouts?

How about EAGD - on plain demand figures I am seeing from rich?

Had to mention so that you have it on your radar meanwhile. "Donot want to quote the senior manager because he is not authorized to talk on behalf of the bank"

They made over 1B in revenue in bond trading in 2010. Given the current market conditions, Id love to see how they replicate that...you cant re-allocate a re-allocated bond book twice!
