Pienaar,Modric and VDV would make for a very lethal "concotion"....Sisi kwisa! Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

I really can't understand why Harry is interested in another attacking midfielder, he has Bale, Modric, VDV, Lennon etc I believe his priority should be atleast two defensive midfielders and a striker.

@Taz, they dont need to add anyone, they could actually end up like Man City, where you have a squad full of stars who arent playing. Defensive; Palacios, Huddlestone, Jenas. Strikers; Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe. He should just stick with this team, unless he sells some of the above. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

But as I said it will take the likes of blackpool, wolves, west ham et al to beat man-u. And when that happens, heaven forbid that they do not go on a long run of defeats.
Its said that man-u is yet to play chelsea twice, arsenal, man-city. My thinking that those games will most likely be drawn!
Man-city as predicted would win their game and are now level on points with Man-u. With the race for the top spots heating up, chelsea may well find themselves out of a euro place!
I thought arsenal would struggle against westham. But wenger had other plans. And he had to after the loss to ipswich and draw before that.
Chelsea came out with the points. Thought they would draw. The front players had to rely on a defender to get them into the game. Good news is that Steven Pienaar is set to join the champions. Just thinking when Benayoun gets back, the partnership with Steven and lampard came be quite something. But thats for next season.
25th Jan 2011 Blackpool v Man-u. End of the 'game in hand'. End of the unbeaten run too? Tusubiri!

Those who watch football on TV looking down on those who only listen to it on radio and feel like know alls. Until those who watch the matches live at the stadium come and tell them that the TV can never give you the complete picture on a game. Biggest fish in a small pond. To get the real picture on any football match, on players, work rate, influence on games etc you need to watch the match live. Not live ya DSTV that we watch here in Kenya. But at the stadium. Earlier on the debates here were aresenal vs man-u. Of late they have become man-u vs the rest of the world...shows you just how things have turned up.
Yes Berba is a leading scorer, and has certainly given man-u returns this season more than any other. But I somehow tend to rate Chicarito a better buy than him. Lets see what he does come next season.
Pienaar seems not to have agreed terms with chelsea. And seems to be headed to spurs...to a really packed midfield. Let's hope his better pay is matched by playtime...lets hope spurs finish in the CL spot or else he will be looking at chelsea and dreaming of 'what if...'
Am starting to think that man-city with their current form can easily win the title...and if the other teams are not carefully retain it next season.

@winston, you must be high on sawdust. Just what is your basis? Man U did beat Arses, beat Spurs in one game and drew the other, and was about to hammer the living daylight out of the Blues, only for Chelshit to pull a winter on them. @jus blazing...am on just-chokozaring man-u weed! other than the spurs home and away...what about the others? The draws are based on man-u's now all to familier drawing culture. As for chelsea...am a fan and we look forward to being thrashed home and away by man-u..but I see that its more likely going to be a draw and a win to chelsea. Am I sounding like a defector to man-city? Hakuna siku!

Is Darren Bent worth 24 million pounds? He's not even worth the initial 18. Just another overrated Englishman. List ni refu: SWP, Carrick, Glen Johnson, Heskey, David James (after all those blunders he was still number one for a long time), Carragher, Milner. Aside, did Tottenham want Beckham for playing purposes ama ni kuuza mashati? Cause the guy will add little or nothing to the squad GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

Denilson: Cesc doesn’t lead us By Charlie Wyett Arsenal star Denilson has rocked the club by insisting Cesc Fabregas is not a good captain. Brazilian Denilson, preparing for tonight's FA Cup replay at Leeds, said: "Fabregas is the captain but he is not a leader. "It's a personality thing and a leader can be young. It's something they are born with. We are lacking leadership and we need leadership to go forward. There isn't a leader. I don't see one player as a leader. At Arsenal it's more of a collective team at the moment, everyone is talking - but a leader is always important for a team." Midfielder Denilson, 22, also had strong views on Arsenal's goalkeeping situation. Wojciech Szczesny is set to start tonight in place of the injured Lukasz Fabianski, yet Denilson believes neither is the club's No 1 stopper. He said: "The best keeper at Arsenal is Manuel Almunia." But Denilson gave his full backing to manager Arsene Wenger. The Brazilian added: "His work is amazing and I admire all he has done giving opportunities to young players." ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

If he really said that then he must be on some Kenyan weed. Ati Aluminium is the best keeper at the Arsenal? Wololo Yaye! Probably hitting back at Fabregas for saying that a professional footballer should not have conceded a penalty the way Denilson did in the FA Cup match against Leeds. He's just hitting back at Cesc......i've never been a fan of denilson, he doesn't really add any value to the team. I can't understand why Wenger insists on playing him because we always end up losing whenever he starts a match.

@youcant...you must have meant Darren Bent with his proposed move to Aston villa. It is reported he has scored 81 goals. The only other players in the EPL with better record are Drog (82) and Rooney (82) over the same period.
@Taz...hope then Denilson does not play tonight...you dont want to be out of the cup!

Now that we the pensioners have started having our voices back; I found the following copy and paste quite insightful on the reason we are 4th instead of 1st: Sometimes, in the premier league, you need to approach the matches like a gladiator in an amphitheatre. You got to fight it out. You gotta be ready for ugly things...
The title winning teams are always the most consistent. In order to maintain this consistency, at least in the premier league, your team has to be versatile. I think we have forgotten this art of being versatile. Seasons ago, Chelsea team would change its formation 3 or 4 times in the same match, tactics rapidly changing based on match situations including injuries to opponent players, have players being played out of position, have players dropped for performance, have players’ desires and workrate questioned openly and so on. Now, we’ve become a bit too cozy. We don’t change our formation, we don’t change our tactics, we don’t drop players and we lose confidence and we expect ourselves to come out of this ‘bad moment’. Just how?Good question just how?

But lets face it, thats a fact. Arsenal dont have a leader. Show me one leader. On the 'keepers, that just shows you vile mko down. Having Woishe Squeeze me, Flapianski and Aluminium/Ammonia does not show a champions team. Compare that with the likes of VDS, Buffon, Julio Cesar, San Iker, Cech, etc and you will see where am going with this. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Jus Blazin...you can't compare Fabianski (who's has been on good form of late) and Sczezsny with pensioners like Buffon, VDS...our keepers are young inexperienced players. At 23 yrs, i believe Cesc is doing a great job as captain. Who said leaders have to be defenders or keepers and btw at 20 most of the players you've mentioned were nowhere. I think Almunia (who is on his way out) is the only player above 30. How many goals have been conceded between VDS, CECH, FABIANSKI this season?

@Taz, show me a leader, not a captain. Thats what Denilson is saying. Fibreglass is a good captain, but not a leader. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

On the keepers, inexperience wont win you the title. Get experienced keepers like Shay Given. Your keepers cannot also be compared to their agemates Hart, De Gea, etc. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca
