What a slow counter. I just dug this thread from the archives and I just noted that we have been discussing the same prices for months now. As a shareholder I can't wait for this stock to get its move on. Its partner WTK has slid back to 200/- after testing 230/-! Tough life in the agriculturals. All the fun is with financials Sad

@the merchant times will be hard for this counter...

The drought was unexpected but all the bad news is negatively affecting the share price...

We might even fall down to 60bob if the situation continues..

We can only be saved by a higher dividend.

Agriculturals are a NEVER,NEVER for me u only invest at the expense of constant heartaches and dissapointment...

The only time one can risk a cent in agriculturals is when they have hit all time lows such as was the case in 2009

@moneydust the amount of cash i have in agri stocks is negligible..

As in a 1% rise in my DTK or KPLC can offset a 8% fall in my agri stocks.. So i'm cool...

I'll just sit tight..

I have never added agriculturals to my portfolio. This was my first. Very bad start I must say. If I experience massive value erosion here i will dump the stock. I like to cut my losses early. However, I do not think its the right time for any decision. Ill watch it as I manage the rest of my portfolio. On friday someone bought it at 90/- so there might be hope albeit slight.
@Guru, lets sit tight and update me if any news affecting this counter is unleashed. Thank you.

I get you but for me I would rather put every single penny that I have in a stock/stocks I have faith in...besides currently there are plenty of choices out there especially the financials..

Am sure even if u were to sell kakuzi at a loss today ...u will recoup that money and much more by 3rd qtr of this year if u were to invest in financials

it was interesting to note most people think kakuzi still is invested in coffee!! Sad

but talk of draught is affecting this quarter..not their just concluded financial year.. ..before you dump..chill out for the results..
