Hi,

Does anyone out there have good advice on how to get rid of some odd lots I have on my portfolio? Suntra says I should place a sale/purchase order at lower than market price but still they haven't managed to sell/buy. Is anyone else in this situation??

How do you buy & sell odd lots?
[The old system was listing them in a different board. The prices varied substantially from the normal board]

most people with odd lots are as a result of the old IPO allocations. you have to sell at a lowere price and it is your brocker to oversee that. i had the same issue with Old KPLC and Kengen stock but it was reactified.

I am willing to buy Odd Lots from the following counters to top up mine since I also have odd lots in these counters: EABL, DTB, ARM, Equity, Centum. But as you have been cotrrectly advised the price is normally sustantially lower

Good for you coz you can buy them at a lower price... expect for the minimum commission...

To buy or sell odd lots please do not place a minimum purchase/sale price and they order will go though quicker. Essentially all odd lots are below 100 shares. You are not going to save much quoting max/min prices. e.g I needed to buy 33 KPLC shares to round of my total shares to a non odd number. How would I have saved by specifying a price limit? Even if they were bought at 3/= above market (unlikely) I would simply have paid 100/= more

Can one specialize on buying odd lots peke yake? Looks like it can be quite lucrative.
