My and my sister's experience lately (and not so lately) has been that my Safaricom airtime gets consumed way too quickly for me to actually be getting billed at 3bob a minute having met the (arghhh.....!!!!!!!) other conditions stipulated to benefit from this rate. In addition, and much more blatantly, i have on more than one occasion not used my phone at all just to discover my airtime has gone down. And its even more perplexing when I have checked my airtime, used my phone to make a call, and checked my airtime to find my balance higher (seldom the case but goes to prove my point that there's something amiss here!). And am not talking about isolated incidents. Please monitor you balance for a day and you'll see what I mean. What oh what can we do? A class suit against safaricom?Oh, almost forgot a classic. On several occasions I have subscribed then unsubscribed to, say the mobile internet, just to later receive a message that my subscription has been renewed anyway. Yup, has happened so many times mpaka i keep my sms for proof of this annoying thieving activity. Anybody experienced similar problems?

You my brothers/sisters are right:we are being robbed blind. I contacted c.care only to be given a plan as to how we kenyans lose money in this 21 century. They deduct little by little though unfairly and irrelevantly. They say,if you dont buy the daily bundles, they automatically deduct you credit with the impression that they r setting aside credit for your internet consumption. The catch;if you dont utelise the set aside credit within some hrs,it changes hands. This is repeated over and over during the day as long as you access the internet and fail to switch off you phone after surfin. I ofcourse chose to shift camp.

No point arguing from a point of ignorance. Log on to https://selfcare.safaric...ke/FrontEnd/Home.action for details of your call records. You can even raise a service request right from the comfort of your desk with evidence, if any, of your overcharge. More often than not, you'll discover that the billing is accurate to the dot.
