Short EUR/USD @1.3220, SL 1.3305, TP1 1.3120 and TP2 open for now, but looking below 1.3000. Reasons for this trade - 61% fibo retracement on bearish weekly candle last week from the 1.2875 low and overbought RSI on 5mins, 15mins, 30mins, 1hr, 4hr time-frames. The 5min window also shows RSI to slow stochs bearish divergence setup. Please note this is a weekly trade and risky as a daily trade. I will review this next Thursday.

Hmmm... Interesting, my trades are stopped out in less than an hour despite the overbought time-frames. Seems the Chinese pledges to buy Spanish and Portuguese bonds have boosted the euro bulls. I still skeptical on the euro prospects due to the debt concerns, but for now I stand aside.

@ fxtech . at time you do lie ...by finding trends in ranging markets....Asian markets closed low so did U.S markets ( as a matter of fact all indices)....i believe we will see a correction soon....
Momentum will be put to check today....if s&p 500 reverses coz it over due we shld see a huge fall in risk appetite....

My Ichimoku clouds did a good job predicting the bull run. However I stayed out to avoid event risk. I now eagerly await a signal as the prices are trading way above the cloud. We are trading wave 3 of the Elliot wave and I expect wave 4 correction, then a wave 5 bull run and only then would I consider shorting the Euro (if my other indicators allow it). I trade evenings so I will let you know what I do in the mornings or in the evening. Keep tuned. Thank you.

Bagged 20 pips on the euro (Minus the spread). Entered @1.3373 and TP hit at a 1.3393. I love trading the news. Next opportunity @ 12.30 on the cable, PPI Report.

In the same note I would like to invite a friendly debate on Technical Vs Funamental trading. My belief is that a good trading style should be biased on fundamentals.

A good trader should be able to use both technical and fundamental. A good mix of both should yield more successful trades than use of either. I think there are signals you may never see in fundamental news that you will always see in technical and vice versa.
