Profit takers slowing the bull

looks like the profit taking has began and a retracement might now happen before resumption of the bull. Remain bullish and look for entry opportunities during sell offs

equity was traded at 25 in december. it has traded at 29.50 last week. thats 4.5 bob profit or 18%. you cant get that from dividends, bank interest or bonds

If you factor in commissions, percentage profit comes to 13.64%.

You wouldnt want to jump out of Equity now with its Q3 profit up 53%? And it has not even reached its all time high!

@ mwenza, depending with you arrangment with your broker, it may be as high as 15% and who said 15 isnt good in two wks time?

Guys.. in about 6-10 weeks Financial statements begin getting published for the year ended Dec1st 2010..

Pleas align portfolios by then.. Financials likely to hold on or get higher..same with agric except Rea Vip..

Note profit warnings already released including Accesskenya, E.A Cables, BOC Kenya, Eveready, sameer..etc..

So is it advisable to sell off equity now and enjoy the profit or hold till results have been released?

@qw inakaa hawa watu wakona njaa sana, or are very small minded under. current market conditions im not settling for anything less than 50% increase!!!!!! Or atleast i wasnt planning to.

No ....do not sell equity now.....hold until end year results are announced around march.

The profits and secret acquisations in TZ plus the forward strategy will really be juicy....they maybe following KKs ......going south strategy after south sudan, rwanda n burundi!!
