President Kibaki's son David Kagai was yesterday airlifted to Nairobi for specialised treatment after fracturing his leg at a beach in Mombasa.
Sources said Kagai was playing at the beach when he broke his leg yesterday morning. He was first taken to a Mombasa Hospital where he was attended to before being airlifted to Nairobi Hospital.
Government security agencies and paramedics were mobilised as rescue and treatment teams responded to the tragedy. Top security officers were summoned into action to ensure his protection.

@Pastor. What is the news here????? A guy fractures his leg while having fun at the beach and you call that a TRAGEDY??. While i sympathise with his situation i am struggling to find the word you would use to describe the Death of 400 Kenyans over the festive period and injuries to thousands others. If the Government was only a Tenth responsive to the other accidents just as it was on David...

@pastor, I dnt get ua point. Ama u wanted the orezzo to make a public address on state tv informing the public? Where is the secrecy, and why not? How do kenyans even imagine a member of the first family being treated like us common citizens? He is the PRESIDENT'S son, that u need to get into ua head.

I dont think there is anything wrong with the guy getting VIP treatment. Those guys with good medical covers will get the same treatment only that security chiefs will not be involved.

I want to confirm to you that an investigation is underway and the ODM member who pushed him will face the full force of the lawsmile
