qw, 10,000 Eveready shares can only buy you 200 DTB shares. It's not about volumes but turnover. DTB is far from an illiquid stock. On Friday Eveready traded 7,800 shares worth 23,730 while DTB traded 11,400 worth 1.5 million

qw, true its a bit illiquid but its not the worst. I like its liquidity, not too much and not too little. besides you can use this to your advantage sometimes.

next month or so they should give out a 4:1 bonus to increase it liquidity or its 1:4

bartum, taking into account a 1:4 bonus, do you still target 180 (or was it 190?) ama you have adjusted. Its a good company and shnuld there be a bonus people might hold the shares. After all, the banking sector is in a boom

Gosh, i hope the "BULL" will hold ... I really hope it goes on for the rest of the week and investors (Kenyans + foreigners) being who they are will run to board the bus when its off and speeding. Come end of January, those of us who stayed to "stock up" may all be heading off to holiday with pockets so full SONKO would be envious!

RUN BULL RUN... or even evolve into a Bufalo ... i wont mind!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Don't gamble; take all your savings and buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it...

Where is all the demand coming from? Anyone knows? I had assumed that retail investors would be busy paying off holiday debts and looking for money for school fees. Who's doing all this buying?
