Universities in England Have been given the Mandate to raise Tuition Fees by a whooping 100% amid Budget cuts by the Govt + the pay bac threshold has also been increased. This means Graduates will pay 9% of their income as loan bac to the Govt, think of it as HELB in Kenya. So r these students justified in causing Rampage in the Beautiful city of London to the point of attacking th Royal @ Westminster Abbey. But i do admire their solidarity in this matter, imagine, 50,000+ students on th streets!!!

If the Home fees for the Universities have been increased 100%, have the International fees been increased too? If so, I see less and less people going abroad to study for their degrees because of the costs. Many would not pay 16,000-20,000 pounds per year + accomodation for a BSc degree in biology? KEMU, UoN, Nazarene, USIU etc stand to gain the most from their parallel programmes.
