@Mlennyma

I will be there next week prospecting. However, be very cautious when jumping ship. Actually, do not discard the current broker with derision. Use at least three brokers simultaneously and know which side of your bread is butter spread and which side to hold.

Have you noticed the security check at ICEA is dubious. I usually remove one pair of my keys and phone but walks through with another two phones and keys in my pockets.

@Surealligator you must be enjoying yourself watching those soldiers make fools out of themselves.

Total cock-block re:CFCFS

I'm curious though, this is big.....so how come I can't find any related press-release from CMA /NSE/ CDSC

Also, who exactly is playing Big-brother here? I haven't seen any job adverts for that either?

Contemplating heading there too, was my respected broker until when I left due to the obvious rumors doing round then.

good news, hope they will sustain it.

@wazua. Why delete my posts no matter how stupid they may be?

Am now logged into Suntra's online trading platform. It is far better off graphically from that of CFC FS. You even transfer cash from your Suntra account to your bank account at the click of a button.

At CSFS, they ask you go produce a KPLC bill or water bill, draw a map of your location and some other stupid requests. They even ask you to come with Passport size pictures and KRA PIN card, don't they know technology is making such requirements obsolete? Ati na fotocopy za ID etc

When you are connected, you only see their page as half screen on your monitor and the rest of the page is an open grazing field even when you don't have livestock to benefit from the same.

I've never liked Suntra but the experience today was good. They require only your ID and Bank account number and you will be on line in the shortest time possible.

Lets share info on the Suntra online experience.

@Drake

This sounds alarming but am not getting the story. What are you talking about? Is CSFS in trouble or what?

@Muganda

I aint and has not been working for some woman's husband to take the 80% bacon to her while my wife lives a miserable life on boiled potatoes even when I toil from dawn to dusk, Jan to Dec and over the weekends.

I have never worked for or used Suntra and that other nondescript pay phone. Opening an online trading account was my first business with them.

Note: I try to be unbiased. If Suntra proves to be all flowers but no honey, my guns will be trained on them.

Muganda, I initially thought you work for Wazua or Leona's uncle.

@Surealligator......three initials for you.... KYC!
It's for your own protection and its crazy to suggest that technology is making all those requirements obsolete.

Your online account is not Wazua where you log in with no identification requirements apart from your username and password.

@surealligator, sure stuff, happy to know. How do the guys allow you to buy? Do they know how much money you have in your account or is it linked to a mobilepay bank account?

I know the old @stockskenya and that's how I got my login. But folks in Wazua find the rumour more exciting - no big deal.

Are you guys still at Suntra? What is their commission charge?
Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.
