This merging of tv stations is killing choice. The other day I was surprised to see k24 on STV. Ridiculous!

Classic TV will revert back to metro after the contract expires by the end of the year...Kiss tv is trying to become more inclusive instead of targeting the youth..I think this is a wrong move....I watched it yesterday ..I hav never been that bored.

The merging of STV n K24 is depressing I miss aljazeera.

I think GBS has some of the best programs at 7.50pm alot of action and drama although you hav to rely on subtitles.

I agree with you @Selah. This is a big mistake IMHO. Kiss TV had cut a niche for itself and it was becoming increasingly obvious that if you have any product or service targeted at the youth and the not so youthful [some thirty somethings] you had to advertise on Kiss TV. Their Advertising strip at the bottom of the screen was making them tonnes of money!

Having said that, the management has more information than we have and they must have had several meetings before they came to their decision. Let's wait and see how it goes.

At the end of the day, advertisers follow numbers, so if you have Citizen with hundreds of thousands of viewers daily, and KISS TV with ten times less than that, it's a no-brainer for the advertiser.

they used the name 'merged' when actually they were to say; dear classic TV viewers, log on to Kiss TV because the owner is the same, thank you.
