Investors, Having read that rwandan company prospectus, what is your opinion on its stability and future growth potential?

I like the dividend pay out, although that hampers the chances for growth. Plus am looking for the debt burden, in the angle of the interest payments and currency. Am looking at the Euro. But on the whole, i think its a great company, not so much in the upside..Looking at potential gains of about 20% per year. Nothing more. The downside is virtually nill as they hold 95% market share which will be shrank to ranges of 70-80% over the next 5-10 years. Thats ma take!
fair value rwfs170-160.

With the neverending political uncertainity in Kenya, I think having something outside the country is a good way to spread your eggs in different baskets .I love my country though ,but, the Politicians let me down.

I passed by Dyer & Blair today with my RWF 680,000 cheque, but some anamused lady told me that the minimum application is RWF 7,380,000! Thats like KES 1m, while the prospectus states a minimum of 100 shares.
Anyway, finally managed to send through Africa Alliance but was charged KES 1000 'handling fee'. Learnt later that KCB are also doing the minimum 100 shares but are not charging KES 1000.

COOP 255,000 ABP 15.85; IMH 5,000 ABP 35.55; KQ 604,200 ABP 6.96; MTN 23,800 ABP 5.20

@obiero - your final application was less than KES 1M? Who are KCB and how can I use them? Thanks

I talked to FIB and they advised me that they are dealing with Kenya shilling at an approximation of Ksh 20 per share. This is how they ll edge any exchange rate differences.
No mention of charging commission.
Is this a fair deal?

@ ectasy. yes the final application was less than 1m. Nd KCB is KCB! Google it!
@ ilike. That deal by FIB sounds bad. Its worse than the Africa Alliance one by KES 1150 per 5000 shares. Unless ua buying less than 500 shares.

Thank you..issh! ati google. learn how to communicate. You make African Alliance and KCB BANK appear as competing forces making me even doubt you talking of Kenya Commercial Bank when you refer to KCB!! AA are using KCB Rwanda for fund remittance.
