A 2/- drop in prices will not boost sales sufficiently to overcome losses in margins! I would like to see the formula first... As for high prices... what are the taxes? 40/-...

I like the SA way...that´s what we use back home..pump price correlating international oil prices´s...anyways like you say lets wait for the formulas but anything short of that i expect a backlash tomorrow both for GOK from oil companies and for investors...anyways let me sleep got class tomorrow...hoping for the bestsmile smile smile

The fine for non-compliance is 1 million - They'll recover this in a day and charge high prices for a whole month

The Govt cant afford to de-license a mojor retailier because that would bring shortages, so it'll keep fining them.

Bottom line - either Govt increase the fine, or prices remain high.

Seems the energy PS is at it again........Says they have consulted the oil marketers on the price regulations when they have not! He should borrow a leaf from the communications PS on this and appoint third party/neutral proffessionals since the ministry of energy through NOCK is a competitor.

I dont think this price regulations will work. More energy needs to be channelled towards improving efficiency in the oil infrastructure. The rules will easily be challenged in the courts by the oil marketers.

Happy hunting.

Its Only good for companies when the oil price go up!

But this Government puts a lot of pressure to other companies.

Its good to Consumers but not to Investors!

Why doesn't the body first control the ever fluctuating KPLC bills???

I used to pay 1,500 then it went up to 4,800 then down to 1,800 and my latest bill reads 2,800.

ERC SHOULD FOLLOW KPLC'S bills STEP BY STEP!
