I think the xstrians and muslims view are closely related as for atheist i got something that the beleive what happens after death is not important. life should be enjoyed in the “here and now.”
Butt (pun intended hehe) what if, like the teachings of traditional Christianity, they are wrong? What if God does exist and He offers an awesome future beyond the grave, not taught by the religions and philosophies of men????????????
So better stay prepared.

as for muindi's reincarnation dont wanna go there

haiya! Kuna people who believe we came from the primodial soup!!! The very fact im alive proves there is a supreme intelligence and evil proves there is an antagonist...whichever way we are pulled,we become like...I believe in God...honestly if you dont it means you declare all history as false...then we can say ther were no such men as alexander the great, julius ceasre, plato, isaac newton(all his discoveries of the law of gravity, motion were all fabrications)etc...that everything that we havent witnessed in our lifetimes cant be truth....oh if i could only prove i actually dont exist!
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

hi..
unfortunately for you..all my references are based on the Bible..so if it is a problem..u might as well ignore this post
please note also..the interpretation is mine and mine alone..as I believe God to lead me.

Ok..

It is appointed for man to die once..and after that judgment.. Hebrews 9:27

so..statistics proven, one out of every one human dies.. it follows u will never leave this life alive. smile smile ..but that is one part..physical death..where body separates with spirit..

.. body goes back to earth where it came from..and spirit goes back to whoever gave it.. GOD..Ecclesiastes 12:7 ..plus confession ya Christ..Luke 23:46

then there is the second death..Call it Kifo Reloaded..spiritual death..Only four times in the Bible is the term "Second Death" mentioned: Rev 2:11, Rev 20:6 & 14, and Rev. 21:8. We have been taught that this "Second Death" means permanent separation from God either by burning or some other form of annihilation, depending on your particular theology.

so..mtubiz..which death are you referring to? smile smile

on a side note..I do not know of other religions..i plead ignorance here on how you, or others seek to find your way to God..

but for me.. Christianity is the only "religion" in which instead of man seeking for God..God seeks out man..makes a way out for man..that it seems its only in Christianity that God wants more for you..and not more from you! but again..depends with what people are taught in there respective churches..doctrines..beliefs..religions etc.

..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16

Why do people skirt around this topic? Are the answers religion offers truly satisfactory or are they escapist just as people appear to avoid the questions here and take up the easiest route. To Quote Brav:

Can what if's form the basis of belief, i think so.
I do not practice any religion, but i do not condemn or chastise those that do. From what i can see, we have no concrete proof of anything, and one is left to judge and decide for themselves, and believe in what they are led to believe. I just don't believe in any religion and most of religions claims, it does not mean i don't believe in "something more" to our existence.

Like the Samaritan woman at the well, all I can say is 'When He comes, He will explain everything to me.'

Good for you. Thou art a braver soul than i am..

my reasoning.. why do i choose to spend my life now doing my best to honor God, do good to others always..and be faithful with all that is entrusted to me? so that when i die..n.. I'd rather die a good man and find out there is no such thing as "GOD" than live the alternative and find that He DOES, actually, EXIST! smile
