The issue of which college he attended or did not attend does arise. You do not need to be a university graduate to make reasoned decisions. Last night, Ian made a blunder, period! We also need to give credit where it is due -- on a number of occasions, his comments have helped participants to correct their mistakes and to scale up their subsequent performances.

Am on you on this one 110%. I don't necessarily agree with his decisions all the time but let not a single act of error detract us from appreciating what is otherwise a good general performance of Ian.
It is obvious that his opinion carries the heaviest weight among all the other judges: he has built a brand of bluntness and professional respect - expect him in very many more TPFs.

And those folks ascribing him homo tendencies, mko na ushahidi ama ni vuvuzela too? M haters ni wengi - and that also means he is successful!

@magigi I agree on your comments about folks' appreciation of music in languages they dont click like Lingala.

In other words he is a Simon Cowell wannabe. They come in all shades and forms. Nothing brand-able there. ABK.

A FEW FACTS WOULD BE NECCESSARY:
1. ONLY THOSE WHO ARE BORN NAI, TEND TO THINK GUYS FROM SHAGS HAVE UJI BETWEEN THEIR EARS...THOSE TALKING ABOUT THOGOTO ISSUE ARE THE SAME BRAND...
2. IN EVERY MUSIC SHOW IN THE WORLD, THERE IS ALWAYS A LIKE-ALL SOFTY JUGDE AND A RUTHLESS BEAR KNUCKLED DUDE WHO WILL SAYS IT "AS-IS" OR EVEN EXERGERATE FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT..
3. TPF4 IS A SHOW! EVERYONE EXCEPT THE CONTESTANTS IS ACTING, AND THE WHOLE TEAM AGREES ON THE PROCESS WELL IN ADVACE...
4. COMMENTS ON STEVE WERE QUITE IN ORDER! THE COMMENTS WERE THAT THE VERY NICE SONG WAS ALL MONO-LANGUAGE (OTONGOLO STYLE) WHERE AS THE AUDIENCE WOULD HAVE BEEN ENTERTAINED WITH A NICE MIX...THE COMMENT WAS NOT ABOUT THE DHOLUO LANGUAGE BUT ABOUT THE MONO-LINGUA.
5. ETC
