is it part of access?

No. But I didn't fancy creating a new topic. KDN is also going the same route. Access should get new ideas

AK should seek to innovate from this & possibly offer end-to-end solutions i.e. Monitoring cameras, connectivity bandwidth, the data storage + its backup /redundancy links. That is, if they are not already doing this!

Am sure there are many companies, and even groups of private individuals who would greatly benefit from such a product(s).

Without innovation, AK Kwisha!

If they can concentrate on the traffic cameras and work with the traffic police and ministry of transport; they help reduce traffic malpractices like South Africa! Pesa Hapo@ Pap! but again this is AK- Almost Killed!

The way I see it is that the traffic cameras are a corporate social responsibilty move. CSR has never converted to be the core business, at least not in the MBA classes I attended at 'the'.

@ Gordon Gekko . those M.B.A classes u attended u must be studying under a tree ,prefably a Mugumo Tree ! coz ( no pun intended ) but CSR attarcts business as investors will be more inclined to a business inclined to help the comminity. The business that engages in CSR is viewd as more mature and trust-worthy.

@qw i beg to disagree. CSR reinforces the profit motive and wins goodwill from the community. Its adds no value to a struggling business
