@ QD,

You can hurl insults as much as you want but one thing or fact, if i may call it, shall remain. that your man shall have a herculan task of getting the north rift people to listen to him let alone talk to them. the region does not trust him any more. They were warned by Moi about RAO and they did not listen. They know him now for what he is.

@ 2012

Even if UDM happens not to have a flag bearer, its numerous supporters will support someone but RAO. Just you wait and see.

RAO should just go to Ruto William, kneel down and ask him for forgiveness. Nothing else will do.

@ Ngalaka,

People have eyes and they don't see. They have ears but they don't listen, (to quote the Bible). Only time will tell.

My friend this is politics, RAO might lose the 2m Kale vote but get the 3m Kyuk vote... and going by the opinion poll released the other day, it looks like it will be a verrrry tall order to beat RAO. Anyway all the best...

BBI will solve it

The issue was never if Ruto will vie and win!!!
The issue was that ODM read Raila, was losing the vote rich North rift constituency - hence his state house ambitions are still born.

What is this other angle you are tring to sneak in!
Stay with the topic.

@segemia, I tend to believe your argument is subjective too. RAO knew what implications would be by pushing WR away. Again as @murenj says, I don't see a KK(exluding eastern) alliance working, as much as you'd like that to happen. Your argument betrays your so called ethinc tribe (I stand corrcted, but i'm almost certain).
Question: Assuming KOPP pull out of ODM and their flag bearer is WR, who will be flag bearer for the quickly formed party that will go against ODM - if it will be in existence (there are clearly big egos e.g UK, KM and WR...who will allow the other to be president?)

The economy is doing fairly well currently.
I hope the merchants of chaos and anarchy are not planning to spoil the party - again.

But on a serious note, one WR is a writeoff, politically

The angle am sneaking in is that UDM wont win back the ODM RV seats 100%

The fact is Ruto will vie and not win Eldy!!!
The fact was that ODM read Raila, is losing part of the vote rich North rift constituency - but his state house ambitions are still intact

What makes you think RAO will get votes from the other regions apart from RV. 2012 will be a very difficult year for all the politicians....apart from the President & VP (maybe speaker) everyone else will be an ordinary MP. RAO will have a difficult time settling on a running mate.

@ TAZ, It will be a tough 2012...yes I acknowledge, there will be a round 2 (question is vs whom ?) It is not me dreaming / imagining that RAO will pick votes from other areas (including RV). The nature of my job calls for roaming all over Kenya. From what I pick on the ground...RAO will not get 0% in North RV

Kenyans electral behaviours have remained consistent over a long time now. Any mpig can form a party and if he is a popular mpig he will curve a sufficiently large nike of the votes for himself.

RAO on his own cannot make it to the presidency. that is for sure and afterall he has tried in the past and failed miserably. My point, he will need someone else with numbers.

As for ODM and UDM...UDM is purely a spoiler for ODM.
