with so many competitions going on offering prize money as big as 1000000, one wonders where the winners are. is there anyone who knows a winner? or is this another scam?

The lottery is normally taxed so the winner never becomes a millionaire; for instance if you won 1M and the gova axes you 30%, you effectively becomes a hundred-thousanaire...

i concur, i often think the winners are pre-chosen unless a real winner in wazua, comes forward.

This is a scam. Nothing but a bloody scam!!!

And guess what! Those Kenyans who are loosing their hard earned cash deserve what is coming to them. There is a limit to everything - even stupidity! It's high time Kenyans got some brains - hata kama ni 'nusu mkeka'.

The mixture of greed and stupidity is extremely lethal!

Ati the government levies a 30% tax on stupidity? They should be controlling these robberies. Funny thing is the conman/women always present someone from betting licensing control board to "verify" and placate the dim-witted masses. Just tell me how this person is supposed to verify millions of texts, run through some "software", to pick a winning number from disillusioned people who think they will get rich kibahati, with a nod of the head?????. Before you send that text, ask yourself whether it is worth it to be played a fool for the most improbable chance of winning a million bob. How many millions of Kenyans are made fools of for one person to "win" and the conman to get rich and collect 99% of the earnings, is it worth it being so silly for the small chance? I just know too many people stupid enough to play these games and it has broken down my faith in Kenyans, then they have their faces shown on T.V and newspapers.

Are you sure? Thought that winning a lottery is like a windfall which does not get taxed?
