What exactly happened to the Tana River project? is it flying? Talked to one person who was involved in the survey and i do understand the recommendations weren't anything anyone hold the share at 15 bob would love to hear..... unless they put it in the bin and proceed anyway..... Please someone confirm if anything similar to this is out there............

Am not sure this lady is as attractive but she made me some coins in her hey days! I will be happier picking her again at 5 bob... LOL

Are you sure of the figures?....100K tonnes this first half might be a dream then.....I'll dig some more.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Mumias seems to the performing worse that eveready! Even though MSC is paying dividends, I doubt if Eveready will pay any dividends soon. people might wait longer than shareholders of National Bank

Global sugar prices collapsed on Friday together with other commodities such as oil...this does not board well for MSC cos if global sugar prices slump sugar from Comesa finds its way here.

Comesa is currently restricted to supply the Kenyan market with 200K MT while Kenya has a unsatisfied demand every year of 230K MT...by 2012 that safeguard will be removed..high global sugar prices prevent the Comesa countries from fulfilling their 200K MT quota cos the international markets are more lucritive...giving MSC a monopoly of the local market...

I am certain of the figures. I extracted them from the H1 2009-10 results.

If 100K tonnes is impossible in the current half, then its going to be one painful ride for MSC shareholders. Do confirm the figures for targeted production please!
