@CJ sometimes we laugh, make jokes and sometimes we even make lovesmile not because we dont have problems, but we take life as it is,live positively.your condation is simply stress.why dont you try travelling,or watch movie or even visit your mother.i might say you are very young and at this age my friend, your life should be smooth as one Kijana like you said,Life is too short so please take live positively, talk to people, take day by day and most important look up to God when things are mountain.

Thanks. I work in corporate sales at an IT firm though I've always wanted to be a teacher...after reading this, I doubt any of you would want me around your kids tho! My problem or question is this...how do I 'rediscover my inner spirit & passion for life'....something practical I could do...if u told me that drinking a glass of hot water and running around the house three times worked for u I swear I would do it. I just want something to bridge the gap between just believing and actually getting there. I really want to be better!

You are very right.... You would really have to work on your attitude first. with that attitude, i really wouldnt want you near my kid BUT, i wouldnt have any problem allowing you near him if you did not mention that you are this same CJ on this thread.....

Well, am thinking, since you would like to be a teacher, why dont you try volunteering and teaching your neighbours kids... you can do that for free in the evenings or weekends and it might make you feel better. You can also engage with sunday school kids in church (if you attend any) and even if you dont, you can start...

As Luttz said, join SK Charity... there is a x-mas party coming up too.... and hopefully by then, you will have changed your attitude... those kids have gone through much in life already to accommodate one more negative face!

you can start there.......

... one day while he were working,
The Cabin Boys came calling,
They took turns at Becky,
"They were three of them",
When Tommy opended up the door,
He saw his Becky crying,
The torn dress, the chattered lips,
Was more than he could stand,
He reached the bar at the fireplace
And took down his daddy's picture,
And as tears fell on his daddy's face,
He heard these words again,
Promise me son.......

....When Tommy left the Bar room,
Not a Cabin boy was standing,
He said this one's for Becky
As he watched the last one fall,
And I heard him say,
I promise you dad......

Cool Chap, you are the "Coward of The County". That is what you perceive yourself to be. (ati email cowardcounty@yahoo.com)

Well chap, for Tommy, the moment came when the Cabin Boys hit his Becky.

Your moment is coming chap. Just hung in there.

Happy new year guys!

I've always wanted to get back to u n thank u for our conversation last time but I lacked an opportunity after losing my password. Don't worry about the new log in. This is me, Cool Jamaa original smile .

Again, I really must thank u for tendering ur advice last year concrning my little issue Applause . Truth be told, I was desparate and going through a rough time back then. I really needed some guidance, motivation, inspiration to help me back on my feet. U guys supplied thta with ur timely intervention, insightful and strong words and helpful links - I'm now a total Joel Osteen convert - ur generous advice: all of which I needed to hear at the time.

As I can't put down everyone's name here, accept a blanket "thank u"
from the bottom of my heart Pray

Progress

There has been a lot in this area. For starters, I have ben able to get
two phone numbers from attractive girls that actually want to go out with me. It looks like I will actually have a Valentine this year LOL smile , next is that starting February 10th, I'm joining a new team in a new and reputable company in a new role. All in all, I'm very excited about the prospects and look forward to a chance to prove myself.

The key thing is that I have been able to change my attitude from negative to positive. Though I do have moments - from time to time when I feel troubled and lose focus, I am learning to always look on the bright side.... my new found FAITH helps a lot in this.

Thanks to all these things, I do feel more confident about my abilities and myself as a person smile . I am happy and letting go of the past, I have my eyes set firmly on the goal!!!!

I do not write to gloat, but to update and also let you know how grateful I am for all your encouraging words....hata Impunity. This is what the wazua community is all about. May the God of Israel bless you as he has and is continuing to bless me!!! I look foward to contributing more on this forum,

Ni mimi wenu,
Cool Jamaa
